The company Xiaomi announced the release of an updated model of the TV Box S from the third generation. The device supports video playback in 4K UHD resolution with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ technologies, as well as audio formats Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Inside the box is a 4-core ARM chip with a clock speed up to 2.5 GHz and a G310 V2 graphics processor. CPU performance has increased by 25%, while GPU performance has increased by 130% compared to the previous model. The device comes with 32 GB of built-in memory, and only 2 GB of RAM.
For connectivity, an HDMI 2.1 port, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2 are offered. The operating system on the box is Google TV with support for voice input through Google Assistant.
