The White House has published "evidence of the laboratory origin of COVID-19" on the official website of the President of the United States, creating a section dedicated to investigating the origins of the pandemic. American authorities presented five key arguments:

Atypical biological characteristics of the virus containing genetic features not found in natural strains of coronaviruses.

An unusual mechanism of infection. Unlike previous pandemics, transmission occurred after a single contact, which is atypical for a natural virus.

Suspicious research conditions. The Wuhan laboratory specializing in coronavirus studies has repeatedly been criticized for insufficient biological protection when working with dangerous pathogens.

Early cases of staff infections. In the fall of 2019, several researchers from the Wuhan Institute of Virology had symptoms consistent with COVID-19 long before the official discovery of the virus.

Lack of evidence of natural origin. In 2025, it will be five years since the World Health Organization declared a global coronavirus pandemic that affected the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world.

Earlier, a court in the United States demanded $24 billion from China for concealing data on COVID-19.
