The 'Avtozavod Saint Petersburg' organized a production simulation for members of the Saint Petersburg International Business Association. On the conveyor, dismantled Xcite X-Cross cars and those taken from repairs were suspended. The production of Xcite X-Cross vehicles was indeed halted, leading to a decline in demand for these cars and issues with warranty service. As a result, the factory had to sell vehicles below their purchase price, but this did not significantly reduce stockpiles.
The press release stated that the plant is operating as usual and everything is fine, although part of the production process was only simulated. Filming during the tour was prohibited for members of the Saint Petersburg International Business Association.
