Nvidia announced technical specifications of the GPU in Nintendo Switch 2 providing up to 10 times better performance compared to its predecessor. The processor is equipped with ray-tracing cores and tensor cores for DLSS. In desktop mode, the console provides image resolution up to 4K, and in portable mode - up to 1080p at a screen refresh rate of up to 120 frames per second. G-Sync technology is supported.
The Nintendo Switch 2 announced on April 2 brings performance to a new level thanks to the special Nvidia processor with dedicated RT cores and tensor cores for stunning visual effects and AI-based improvements, as noted by Nvidia.
Nintendo Switch 2 will be available for purchase on June 5 for $450.
