The Ministry of Energy has developed a project to increase the tariff for thermal energy and hot water supply for residents. The draft regulation is published for public discussion. The medium-term tariff policy for 2021-2025 provides for an annual adjustment of tariffs by 25%. In November 2023, tariffs for industrial, budgetary, and other consumers were raised to the level of cost price. Current tariffs: heating - 1,560 soms/Gcal; hot water supply (for thermal energy in hot water) - 1,560 soms/Gcal; hot water by meter reading - 108.07 soms/cubic m; hot water per norm for one person - 518.74 soms per month. The deficit of funds for heat supply organizations in 2024 amounted to 6.1 billion soms, with subsidies allocated to cover expenses amounting to 4.3 billion soms.
"The physical and moral wear of the pipeline networks and equipment at municipal enterprise "Bishkekheatnetwork" is 76%". Starting June 1, 2025, for residents with a total area up to 80 sq. m., an increase by 25%, in 2026 - 50%, and in 2027 - 75%. In 2028-2030, tariffs will be set at cost price.
