The company Intel has adopted a new strategy regarding the production of CPU processors. Ori Lempel, a senior design engineer at the company, announced that Intel will now adopt a flexible approach to selecting the technological node for specific CPU lines. This approach differs from the previous 'IDM 2.0' strategy, which focused solely on using their internal manufacturing processes.

At this stage, Intel will continue with a dual-source technology process strategy: both its own developments and TSMC's technologies. CPU projects are created across multiple nodes simultaneously, allowing for evaluation of market entry timing and performance parameters to make final decisions. This approach ensures flexibility and cost savings for the company.
