Experts from DxOMark evaluated the smartphone Google Pixel 9a's camera at 143 points, which is a very high result. The new model costs $500 and outperforms such devices as Huawei P50 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, Galaxy S24 Ultra, and iPhone 15. Despite this, the Pixel 9a has technically less powerful camera specifications compared to its predecessor, Pixel 8a: the resolution of the main sensor is 48 MP and the size of the sensor is 1/2 inch as opposed to 64 MP and a 1/1.73 inch format on the Pixel 8a. However, the aperture of the camera has increased to f/1.7. In terms of photo quality, the Pixel 9a scored 150 points, which is higher than the Galaxy S25 Ultra's rating.
