Google Cloud introduced two autonomous AI agents at the Google Cloud Next 25 conference, designed to be independent cyber incident investigators and malware analyzers. These solutions will become part of the Unified Security platform.

The first agent is intended for processing alarm signals, automatically checking each warning about suspicious activity – identifying the threat source and its connection with past incidents. The system records all stages of analysis as a 'digital trail.'

The second system specializes in analyzing suspicious code, automatically deciphering files with unknown content and determining potential actions of the code — such as stealing passwords, encrypting files, or spying on users. Both systems operate around the clock and integrate into current processes through Unified Security.

Developers expect that these systems will help security teams reduce time spent on routine tasks by up to 70%.

Google emphasizes the goal of using AI agents to free cybersecurity specialists from routine work. Large corporations, including banks, are already testing this approach.

According to Gartner's forecasts, by 2027, 40% of companies will use similar tools to handle a larger portion of routine tasks. Competition is heating up between Google, Microsoft, and Amazon in the field of cloud services with AI elements.

Google promises regular updates to the AI agents' algorithms and provides clients with the option to customize them according to their needs. The commercial launch is planned for the second quarter of 2025.
