The CEC is considering an appeal from the GKNB regarding the revocation of the parliamentary mandate of Sultanbai Ajigitov. On October 9, 2017, the Sokuulkudistrict police department initiated a criminal case related to hooliganism involving violence and tormenting a minor. On April 4, 2018, Ajigitov was charged under Article 204 'Hooliganism' of the Criminal Code of KR, and he was placed under house arrest as a preventive measure. The head of the GKNB department, Jeenish Seyitov, emphasized: "We have established that on October 9, 2017, the Sokuuluk district police department initiated a criminal case related to hooliganism involving violence and tormenting a minor in an helpless state. On April 4, 2018, Sultanbai Ajigitov was charged under Article 204 'Hooliganism' of the Criminal Code of KR, and he was placed under house arrest as a preventive measure." On April 13, 2018, the criminal investigation was completed and forwarded to the Sokuuluk District Court. On February 14, 2020, Sultanbai Ajigitov was found guilty but was exempted from punishment due to the expiration of the statute of limitations for the crime. On June 10, 2021, the Chuy Regional Court upheld the decision without change. Sultanbai Ajigitov claims: "I have no criminal record."
