OpenAI has enhanced the functionality of ChatGPT, enabling the chatbot to reference all previous conversations with a user. This was announced by Sam Altman in his X account.

"[ChatGPT] can now refer to all your past conversations!" - noted Altman, adding that the update brings AI systems closer to those that know you throughout your entire life and become extremely useful and personalized.

The feature is available both on request from the user and autonomously. Users can disable this function via settings or ask ChatGPT to refresh its memory. Temporary chats do not support this function.

The update is accessible to Plus and Pro subscribers. Team, Enterprise, and Edu users will gain access within several weeks. However, the new feature is currently unavailable in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein.
