Audi and Jaguar Land Rover Halted Car Shipments to the USA Due to Increased Tariffs

The German automaker Audi announced a suspension of vehicle shipments produced in Mexico and other overseas markets delivered to US ports after April 2. The reason is new American tariffs amounting to 25%. Vehicles arriving before April 2 will be transferred to dealers as planned. Jaguar Land Rover also halted shipments to the US market. Similar measures were taken by Volkswagen and the Stellantis group with the Jeep brand.
