The corporation Apple has opened access to parts for self-repair of the smartphone iPhone 16e on the website Self Service Repair Store in the USA and several European countries. Owners of the new phone are offered components and tools for repairing the display, battery, cameras, back glass, speakers, and other components. Apple also provides the opportunity to rent a set of tools for an iPhone for seven days for $49.

The self-repair program for devices was launched in the USA and Europe by Apple in 2022. Within Self Service Repair, customers have access to original parts, tools, and instructions for repairing several models of iPhone and Mac.

Sales of iPhone 16e started at the end of February this year. Experts from iFixit rated the reparability of the new model as 7 out of 10 possible points. The first buyers of the device began to complain about problems with Bluetooth sound playback, such as stutters or interruptions in sound.
