An earthquake of magnitude 7.7 occurred in Myanmar. The epicenter was located 16 kilometers northwest of the city of Sagain, near the second largest city in Myanmar - Mandalay. Twelve minutes after the main shock, an earthquake of magnitude 6.4 occurred in the same region. The tremors were felt in the Thai capital Bangkok and in the Chinese province of Yunnan on the border with Myanmar. Residents of India and Bangladesh also felt the underground tremors.
